I was privileged to judge some quality dogs and pleased to say no major faults found. The hospitality after judging was first class as I had my own personal tour guide of your beautiful city before my flight home. I must commend the exhibitors for the sportsmanship and kind comments.

10 year old B/W dog, held himself well for his age, lovely dark eye, good bone, desirable layback of shoulder, ample heart room, good depth and moved freely maintaining a level top line on the stack and on the move. Happy to award him Best veteran in show.
2. Williams’ GALLINAGOS GOLD FINGER.
8 year old Golden boy well presented and displayed ample attributes however erratic on the move. Longer cast than the winner with a softer muscle tone. Preferred the complete picture of 1 on the day.

7 month old B/R dog, still very immature and can only improve, I loved his personality as he took it all in his stride, lovely dark eye and his head can only get better as he matures, maintained a level top line on the stack and on the move, hope it all comes together.

11 month old golden dog headed this class, eye catching, as he possesses excellent qualities, beautifully presented, intelligent dark eye, nice and square, good bone, rib, ample heart room and maintained a level top line throughout. Good bend of stifle, terrific movement as he drove around the ring. RBD & BPD
2. Maclean’s LYNWATER TENNESSEE WHISKEY.
10 month old O/R dog another lovely exhibit, beautiful head and dark eye, good bone, short coupled, level top line, a shame to have met the class winner. Would prefer more substance to him but he has time on his side. Handled sympathetically.

10 month old B/R dog one I have judged before and its fair to say is coming on nicely. A dog of good type lovely head and expression, loved his front assembly, carried a level top line throughout, short coupled. Correct tail set, happy to see he has settled since I last judged him. Scores on his accurate foot fall and drive.
2. Davidson’s ANNILANN MISTER BOO.
17 month old B/R dog of good type. Well presented today and expertly handled. Possessed similar qualities as the first in this class, however I would prefer more of him overall which should come as he continues to mature. the winner of this class just seems to be more together today.

17 month old black dog, desirable temperament, has a pleasant head and dark eye. Loved his tail carriage and usage. Would prefer finer shoulders, more depth overall and more drive. Sympathetically handled.

2 year old O/R dog, this boy caught my eye as he made his way into the ring with his exuberant personality and ring presence. Hands on he possessed impressive qualities starting with an appealing head and expression, good lay back of shoulder and the required length of upper arm to form a textbook front assembly, good bone, and neat cat like feet, short coupled with a lovely bend of stifle. Correct tail set and carriage, his movement was sound with drive, kept his handler on her toes. Coat well turned out to complete the picture. He pulled out all the stops and I could not deny him BD & BIS.

30 month old B/R dog, Another male of good type. lovely temperament, alert and intelligent expression. masculine head, moderate length of neck into a good front assembly. Good rib and maintained a level topline on the stack and on the move, good bone, bend of stifle and feet. Moved well.
2. Maclean’s LYNWATER LOOK AT ME.
18 month old dark BR&T, Another male with desirable attributes, good lay of shoulder, well off for bone and good feet. Short coupled with good tail carriage ample coat and lovely to go over. Would prefer more depth overall.

4 year old B/R dog I have had the pleasure of judging 2 years ago, he has matured into a quality exhibit. Stood alone in this class but deserved his placing as I believe he can hold his own in good company. He has a masculine head, distinctive stop with intelligent dark eye, moderate length of neck into excellent shoulder placement. Excels in fore chest with good upper arm. Well sprung ribs with plenty of heart room, short coupled with correct tail set. He maintained a level top line through out. Considered for top honours.

5 year old tri colour dog, he has a lovely head, short coupled, good bone, and feet, well bodied and muscled, moved well.

2 and a half year old B/R boy, dark intelligent eye, preferred the head, depth and movement of the first place. Short coupled with good muscle. Presented in good coat.

5 year old Golden Boy, very eye catching with a good temperament headed up this class. Masculine head with lovely dark eye, correct shoulder placement with a correct front assembly, good depth and spring of rib, short coupled with good bone. Maintained a desirable merry disposition as he drove around the ring with good extension. considered for top honours today.

1. Scotland’s LYNWATER HAMILTON.
20 month old O/R dog. Litter brother to my BIS. Although of similar type, I would prefer more stop to make his head more balanced and some of his brother’s presence and personality. Good length of neck leading into well placed shoulders and correct front assembly, good rib and level topline, good bone and bend of stifle standing on lovely feet. This combination produced a lovely litter, one their breeder can be proud of.

9 year old O/R feminine bitch, stood alone today. She presents an intelligent dark eye, good head planes and strong front assembly, mature in rib and short coupled, good bend of stifle and moved well. A little fine in bone and found her slightly steep in the croup.

8 month old black feminine bitch, with a lovely head and dark eye. Moderate length of neck, good front assembly, short coupled, maintaining a level top line throughout, good tail set, tail carriage, and bend of stifle, well coated, presented and handled well, a quality bitch to watch for the future.
2. MacFarlane’s COOLEELA ELECTRA.
7 month old golden bitch. Still very raw and now needs to fill her frame, longer cast than the winner. She has a lovely head and expression, good bone and maintained a level top line throughout, moved well, she has time on her side and can only get better.

11 month old black bitch, very feminine and eye catching, gave her handler a hard time. Stands four square, she has an appealing head and eye. moderate length of neck following into well laid back shoulders, complemented by good upper arm, ample heart room, thus a strong front assembly. Good bone, and neat feet. Maintained a level topline, short coupled with correct tail set. Good bend of stifle and well muscled quarters, coat well prepared and presented. Delighted to award her BB, BPB, BPIS and eventually RBIS.
2. Bodzak’s RUPHILL’S BREATHLESS.
10 month old golden bitch, another quality feminine exhibit with a pretty head, unlucky to meet the winner today. Preferred the overall balance of 1.

11 and a half month old B&T Bitch not happy in her previous class however appears to be settling down. Feminine bitch with a lovely dark eye. Good depth and bone. similar qualities as first, though carrying a little excess weight. Preferred the overall outline of the winner.

18 month old black bitch with a feminine head and expression although appears to have an eye irritation today. Short coupled, maintained a level topline and correct tail placement, slightly erratic on the move that let her down, coat well prepared and presented.

18 month old black bitch. Beautiful feminine head and dark eye, lovely friendly temperament. Would prefer more of her all through, stands and moves a little narrow, correct topline and tail placement. Not the front assembly of 1

17 month old feminine B/R bitch, she has the most appealing head and dark eye, moderate length of neck into well laid back shoulders, good front assembly, good spring of rib, short coupled, maintained a level top line throughout, correct tail set which she used to her advantage, good bend of stifle. One to watch for the future. She didn’t appreciate her stand in handler in the challenge and didn’t perform so well.

2 and a half year old black bitch. Very feminine with a lovely dark eye and expression good shoulder placement albeit carrying excess weight over her shoulder, good bone with cat like feet, level topline and correct tail set, moved exuberantly and covered the ground effortlessly.
2. Bulmer & Carmichael’s TOTENKOPF DUTCH MIRROR.
5 year old black feminine bitch, needs to be handled to be appreciated. She has a lovely head and the most appealing expression, moderate length of neck flowing into well laid back shoulders, correct front assembly, level topline and correct tail set. Would prefer more of her overall and could be handled better to advantage, certainly worth the perseverance.

Very feminine bitch, beautiful head, eye, and intelligent expression, correct front assembly, well sprung rib with good heart room, short coupled, correct tail set and good bend of stifle, alert and effortlessly drove around the ring with accurate foot fall. Moved as one with her handler. Pushed the best bitch hard for top honours, awarded her RBB.
