Solid Colour puppy (1) 1st Crawford’s Totenkopf Dutch Double Deuce. 9 months old black bitch with pleasing head, a little full in eye, well bodied with good spring of rib, well boned, moved ok.
Solid Colour Novice (5,4) 1st Crawford’s Totenkopf Dutch Double Deuce.
Solid Colour Graduate (6,1) Two quality bitches headed this class. 1st Young’s Canyonn Classic Vision JW. Black bitch with very pleasing neck and shoulders. Sweet head, eye and expression. Good bone, well balanced, cobby body with good hind angulation and correct tailset and carriage. Moved well. 2nd Davies’ Annaside You are My Sunshine. Gold bitch very pleasing in many respects. In lovely coat and show condition. Pleasing head and kind eye, good front assembly, well sprung ribs, moved soundly but at times carried her tail a little too high. 3rd Stokes-Harrell’s Villaspaniol Pixies for Chezza’s.
Solid Colour Open (6,2). 1st Rodger’s Ravensgreen Gaol Mo Cridhe. 5 year old black in good coat. Well bodied with good bone. Typical head and eye, correct neck and shoulder placement, deep in brisket, well ribbed back with short couplings. Moved well and with enthusiasm holding a good topline. 2nd McFarlane’s Cooleela As Sweet As You Are. 3 year old gold bitch with pleasing head and eye, good body properties, dropped her topline on the move and not as enthusiastic as the winner. 3rd Carmichael an Bulmer’s Totenkopf Inverlochay Isla.
Particolour Puppy (4,0) 1st Davies Manchela Little Mermaid of Annaside. Blue bitch of 11 months, up to size, very well bodied and in full bloom. Very mature, excellent neck and shoulders, well sprung rib, strong hindquarters, moved well. 2nd Harrison’s Forever Rizi Bizi Tamara for Glenbrows. Liver roan, very pleasing, well constructed throughout, good head and neck and shoulders, well bodied, short coupled and well balanced. Unfortunately a little anxious today. 3rd McGregor’s Dunherl Penelope Pitstop.
Particolour Novice (5,0) 1st Griffiths and Norie-Miller’s Ryallcourt Silent Witness for Tanrini, Light blue roan with pleasing head and eye, correct layback of shoulder, short, deep body, in good coat and well presented. Would like to have seen more positive hind movement. 2nd Kotanen’s Yokotai Queen of Chaos. A quality bitch shown in very good coat and condition. Dark blue with very pleasing head but not quite such an expressive eye as the winner. Correct neck and shoulder placement, short, strong topline which she held on the move. Well sprung rib, short coupled, good hindquarters, moved well. 3rd Thompson’s Mary’s Bluebell Lady.
Particolour Graduate (2,0). 1st Tavernor’s Cassom Blue Muse at Regaltav. Blue bitch of good type, short and cobby body, pleasing head and eye, correct neck and shoulder placement, well sprung ribs, short in loin. Moved a little erratically today and not quite at one with handler. 2nd Madigan’s Misperros Abeja Reina. Blue bitch of good type, very good neck and shoulders, well sprung ribs, good body properties, a little longer in back than ideal but performed very well for her young handler and displayed good temperament. Moved soundly.
Particolour Open (3,0) 1st Duncan’s Corralet Condessa III of Dunherl JW. Blue bitch of good type, short and cobby, pleasing head and eye, correct neck and shoulder placement, well sprung ribs, short in loin. Sound but a little erratic on the move. 2nd Proudler Kimapa Kwarta Korki. 2nd Orange roan, longer cast in body than the winner, well bodied and moved well.
Any Colour Veteran (6,1) 1st Rodger’s Kenwad Black Opium at Ravensgreen. Black bitch, 7 ½ years old, in good coat and condition. Feminine head and good eye, correct neck and shoulders, big ribs, moved well. 2nd Rainey’s Kalispell Kiss N Tell. 12 ½ years old blue bitch in good coat, sound front and back, good neck and shoulders. She can still show the younger ones how to perform! A credit to her owner. 3rd Winer’s Crowmere Oh Melissa for Kevuliawin.
Any Colour Minor Puppy (15,1) A super class of young ladies headed by Nuttall’s Rosecourt Romance. 8 months old, blue, pretty head, kind eye and expression, good neck and shoulders, short cobby body, good angulation, liked her height on the front which gave her a very pleasing outline, moved very well with ground covering action. Pleased to award her Best Puppy Bitch. 2nd. Duncan’s Royal’s Friend Zaida’s Serenity in Bartonholm (imp Hun) NAF TAF. A promising dark blue of just 6 months, good body properties, pleasing outline, correct head, not as short and compact as the winner but a very nice puppy. Moved well when settled. 3rd Harrison’s Ryallcourt Modern Millie at Glenbrows.
Any Colour Puppy (8,0) A strong class. 1st Darby’s Pearkim Pompadora Dargess. Lots to like about this blue bitch of 10 months, maturing well, very pleasing outline, good head, neck and shoulders, big ribs, short coupled, strong hindquarters, moved very well displaying reach and drive. Just missed out in the challenge for Best puppy bitch as she carried her tail rather high. Very well presented. 2nd Babester’s Kalispell Whole Lotta Love. A nice type, very short and cobby, lots to like about her, just preferred the head of the winner. 3rd Harrison’s Forever Rizi Bizi Tamara for Glenbrows.
Any Colour Junior (9,1) A good class headed by two quality bitches. 1st Brennan’s Sparklette Shines at Charbonnel. Black bitch of just 12 months, presented to perfection and free from exaggeration. Good head and eye, correct neck and shoulders, short level topline, very well balanced and well boned. Deep in chest, well sprung ribs, good feet. Moved very soundly front and back with correct tail carriage. Pleased to award her the RCC and I’m sure she has a bright future ahead. 2nd Todd and Rahman’s Zheridon’s Blanche. Very similar remarks apply, a lovely gold bitch on good form who moved well but at times lost her topline. 3rd Buck’s Clavaire Vintage Tan.
Any Colour Yearling (7,1). 1st Darby’s Classicway Chiming Bells. An honest blue bitch, pleasing head and eye, correct neck and shoulders, good ribs, liked her height on the leg which secured her 1st place. Everything knitted together, moved well holding a good topline. 2nd McBride’s Charmwen Handle with Care at Topday. Blue bitch of lovely type, kind eye and expression, good neck and shoulders, would like more width of chest, short and cobby, moved well. 3rd Bowen’s Glowhill Annika at Lararth.
Any Colour Novice (8,1) 1st Kotanen’s Yokotai Queen of Chaos. 2nd Hunter’s Cridhemor Cranachan. An honest orange roan bitch, feminine head, good neck and shoulders, well balanced, good body properties, moved well but would like better tail carriage. 3rd Taylor-Kistner’s Merry Cocktails Spice of Life at Frieljoanipa (imp SWE).
Any Colour Graduate (10,1) 1st Stokes-Harrell’s Claramand One Vision Between Chezza’s. Orange roan with sweet head and dark expressive eye, very well balanced, everything in proportion, good legs, bone and feet. Well ribbed, short coupled, good topline and tailset. 2nd Fairburn and Madigan’s Misperros Incandescent at Carmelfair JW. Dark blue of lovely type, pleasing head and expression, good neck and shoulders, strong deep body and well sprung ribs, moved well. Very sound. 3rd Brothwell’s Wissant Dear Darlin.
Any Colour Post Graduate (8,3). 1st Davies Annaside Winter’s Moon. Well balanced bitch of good type. Good legs, bone and feet, good depth of chest, correct neck and shoulders, short, well ribbed back, good hind angulation. Moved very soundly. 2nd. Ward’s Wensum Let’s Dance JW. Gold bitch, very pleasing in many respects, would like more cushioning to her foreface, strong body, short coupled, moved well. 3rd Whiting’s Annilann Miss Scary Poppins JW.
Any Colour Special Beginners (10,0) 1st Kotanen’s Yokotai Queen of Chaos. 2nd Stokes-Harrell’s Claramand One Vision Between Chezza’s. 3rd Holland’s Kyna Touch of Magic to Holchancer.
Any Colour Limit (14,3) 1st Amos-Jones’ Cassom Merrilegs. 3 year old light blue roan, very pleasing, good head and eye, correct neck and shoulders, well boned, short coupled, moved well. 2nd Fairbairn Nuttall and Madigan’s Heluin Blue Jay (imp Rus). A very pleasing bitch in many respects, not as short coupled as winner. Good head, correct neck and shoulders, moved well when settled on the move. 3rd Whiting’s Annilann Miss Merry Berry JW.
Any Colour Open (13,0) 1st Hillier’s Sh Ch Coedcernyw Calendar Girl JW. A red bitch of exceptional quality throughout. 6 years old, in full coat, lovely show bloom and on top form. Feminine head with dark expressive eye, good neck into correct shoulders, short back, strong level topline and correct tailset. Well sprung ribs leading to short and strong loin, good legs bone and feet, correct hind angulation, moved very well. A real Cocker! I had no hesitation in awarding her the CC. 2nd Fairbairn’s Misperros Sophia Loren. A quality blue bitch with pleasing head, good neck and shoulders, strong body properties, very honest, short coupled, moved well. 3rd McBride’s Topday Tiny Dancer JW.
