East of Scotland Cocker Spaniel Club Web Site

¬ Code of Practice ¬

1)      The web site is for the use of East of Scotland Cocker Spaniel Club members only.

2)      No dogs picture will be displayed on the site without the owners permission, either through email or conventional mail.

3)      Instructions for members wishing to use the web site can be done by entering the email link on the site.

4)      Members will only be allowed to display 4 pictures of their dogs in the dog/bitches pages, in any permutation at any one time.

5)      Within the dog/bitches section of the web site, only the kennel name, dam, sire and owners name will be displayed (no email links to owners addresses will be allowed). Where dogs have been awarded (junior warrant or show champion status) this will be displayed with the kennel name. Information regarding CC`s  will not be displayed on the site.

6)      Within the veterans section of the site the information displayed will also incorporate the dogs date of birth, there is no restriction on the number of pictures members can display on this page.

7)      Within the puppy section of the site only general photographs whether groups, single or fun poses will be allowed. No kennel names or email links will be incorporated with these photographs. (Maximum of 4 pictures per member)

8)      The function of the groups page on the site will allow members to display a group picture of their dogs. Only 1 picture per member will be allowed, where another group picture is submitted the previous picture will be removed from the site.

9)      Only show results since the web site was established (May 2000) shall be displayed.

10)  With specific regard to championship show results, the web site will only display the results of  Scottish championship shows.

11)  Members are advised that the other shows facility on the site is for all other Scottish shows other than East of Scotland Cocker Spaniel Club show results.

12)  Members are advised that the message board facility on the site is for general chat and sale of goods only.

13)  Members are advised that the links page facility is for viewing relevant supply companies only.

14)  Members are advised that the merchandise facility is for The East of Scotland Cocker Spaniel Club official goods only.

15)  Members are advised the web site Guest Book will be made secure in that all messages will be approved before being displayed to visitors.
